HISTORY
In 1960, in a village called Stroe, a small-scale producer of veterinary pharmaceutical products was established: Havee Company. The preparations Havee then produced were mainly sold at the local Dutch market, under its customers’ private labels.

In 1987, with the introduction of the new veterinary legislation in Holland, Havee’s establisher decided to transfer his company, including the five staff-members to one of his good customers. After a few years of continuing activities and the removal of the company to a new office and plant in Barneveld, this new owner started export activities in 1990. During the first half of the nineties staff was doubled to around ten. The company was then selling its products in seven countries.

By the mid nineties the company seemed to be at a dead end. Negotiations led to a management buy-out and to the establishment of Dutch Farm Veterinary Pharmaceuticals BV In order to expand further, plans were developed to design and construct a completely new, G.M.P. certified plant, provided with all offices and facilities necessary.

At the end of 2001 Dutch Farm moved its offices, laboratory and production to the new location. The company grew further to twenty staff-members. Dutch Farm products were sold in more than 45 countries.

PRESENT
Late 2005, Dutch Farm International BV has been established as an independent company, solely focussing on the export of Dutch Farm's veterinary pharmaceutical products. Backed by Dutch Farm Veterinary Pharmaceuticals BV and other production partners based in the Netherlands, the product range is continuously improving and developing. Nowadays, Dutch Farm is having agents/distributors in more than 45 countries.

Since 2006, Dutch Farm is located in Nederhorst den Berg. In 2010 the capacity of the company has been doubled, thanks to the increasing production and sales.

FUTURE
The world is big and there are many countries where Dutch Farm has not introduced its products yet. Nevertheless we prefer to grow step by step, country by country, product by product, while keeping our basic principles in mind. Íf we grow, we will do it in a solid way, based on long term interests. From our point of view this is the only way.

PRODUCTS
The range of Dutch Farm products consists of around 90 generic veterinary pharmaceuticals and can be devided over the groups vitamins, anthelmintics, antibiotics and a range of other medications, in oral liquids, powder and tablet formulations and injectables.

All products are of E.C. origin and meet with the highest quality standards. From time to time new items are introduced and we are continuously working on improvements.

During the first months of 2006, the new design of the Dutch Farm labels has been introduced.
